Network management, usually applied to big shell networks such as computer networks, telecommunication networks etc., refers to a maintenance and administration of such networks at the top level.

Network management is the execution of the placed of functions called upon for controlling, planning, allocating, deploying, coordinating, & monitoring the resources of a network.
